PNOC Alternative Fuels’ industrial park petroleum and petrochemical directives is now inviting both local and foreign investors.
An investor group from Dubai is eyeing to invest a petroleum facility in 125 hectares in Bataan. Viability study is now being conducted by Kampac Oil Middle East FSZO Inc. at PNOC Alternative Fuels Corp. Kampac Oil already submitted the proposed industrial and energy city documents to PAFC. The Bataan Freeport Authority had permitted Kampac Oil in the pursuance of their project.
Jose Rene Almendras, former Energy secretary, said that the project will benefit the Philippines in the future because of its large investments and sufficient fuel supplies. It will also allow the importing and exporting of fuel products. Meanwhile, another Dubai firm shows interest to put up resources in the province but additional details of the project proposal were not submitted. [via manilastandardtoday.com] |
