You Can Zipline in Mt. Samat This Weekend |

Pilar, Bataan, January 2012. Mt. Samat Pilar Zipline was inaugurated. The 540-meter long zip started at the Mt. Samat Firing Range going to the breath-taking view of the green mountain and rice paddies below to the Dunsulan Falls. According to Alice Pizarro, Pilar tourism council chair, the ride to a height of 43 meters above sea level. An adventurer may either ride a shuttle or hike from the foot of the historic mountain in Barangay Diwa to the launch pad. Then, at the end of the zipline, he will land and step out to a hanging bridge and stairs down the ground in Dunsulan Falls. Carlos Pizarro Jr., Pilar Mayor led the event. Bishop Ruperto Santos of the Diocese of Balanga blessed the Pilar municipal hall, the Flaming Sword marker and the Office of Senior Citizens.
