To help produce better citizens, a non-government organization in Olongapo City sponsored a one day lecture on Photojournalism for the Youth.SBPS (Subic Bay Photography Society) leaded by its founders Roy Van Morales with Cleo Roda Nodado served as the organizer of the said lecture for the youth, particularly the youth around the area of Olongapo. The lecture, which was held at McDonald's, were participated in by young individuals together with their parents. It started with a presentation of various images about photojournalism. After the lecture, the participants, together with other club members, went to a nearby city park to take images of eyesore and other unpleasant things. The organization often conducts lectures to the youth that will help and build them become better citizens, role models, and future leaders of the country. At present, SBPS is now recognized by the Department of Tourism (DoT) Region III under Director Ronnie Tiotuico. NGOs like SBPS can contribute a lot to give better future for the youth.
