To help relieve the rising number of applicants at the DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) regional consular office in San Fernando City, the office has opened a satellite office under agreement with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC).The said satellite office is located at The Clark Center, Berthaphil Estate and is open from Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
With this new satellite office, passport applicants from north of Pampanga like Tarlac and other provinces will no longer have to travel to Metro Manila or San Fernando City. The opening of this new satellite office of DFA was requested by Benigno N. Ricafort, chair of Metro Clark Advisory Council (MCAC), to reinforce the move to transfer some vital government agencies to the Freeport. In addition, this could help generate small businesses and employment opportunities to other people. [via mb.com.ph] |
