A P1-billion aquaculture farm project will soon be launched in this town. According to Vice Mayor Pablo E. Nohay, the company will construct a five-storey building where the shareholder would hold office for its venture. Investors are impressed in the strategic location of Pilar. The company plans to export its fish goods to many neighboring countries. This will help to generate not only income for the town but also to thousands of job hunters. Mayor Pizarro stated that the administration of Jatropha is also planning to give more investment to give way to the expansion program of the biodiesel project which became successful in Barangay Liyang.Edgardo Lulu, Barangay Alauli Chief, stated that a number of private investors are eager to put up their investments in their barangay.
