UPDATES: 04/13/2012 - For more info please visit www.orionbataan.com Commuters from Bataan and other places will now enjoy experiencing the biggest shopping center in Metro Manila as Aboitiz Shipping Line deploys its SuperCat ferry boats to ply Orion-MOA. Congressman Abet S. Garcia, 2nd district of Bataan revealed this good news that starting Appril 1, ferry service from this port directly to Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City via Manila Bay, will again resume. Since the trip will be directly all the way to MOA in 45 minutes, the resumption of the ferry boat service is expected to be patronized by Batenos and other commuters from other places. 
Ticketing offices will be put up in RCPI offices in Bataan, particularly Balanga City to enable the commuters get tickets' reservation easily when taking up the ferry boats. There will also mini buses or jeepneys to ferry passengers in Balanga. The Orion Bataan port, which is now being converted into a Roro (Roll-on-Roll-off), was constructed through the joint efforts of Rep. Garcia and his father Gov. Tet Garcia, together with the Philippine Port Authority. In addition to this, ferry service will also soon to be reopened in Mariveles to serve investors and workers inside the the Bataan Economic Zone (BEZ) now converted, by law, into Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
