The remains of a destroyed World War II Japanese bomber plane call Tora-Tora and the skeletal remains of its pilot Sergent Toshishada Kurusawa has been found unexpectedly incompletely buried at the top of Mount Tarak located in the province Bataan. The remains of both Sergeant Kurusawa and his Tora-Tora plane were come upon by a team of Stone Kurusawa, a shared American and Japanese journey to search for the remains of American pilot Second Lieutenant Earl Stone. This journey project, called the "Great Discovery", was headed and begun in 2006 by American national Spike Nasmyth. On February 9, 1942, American pilot Second Lieutenant Earl Stone was killed in the dogfight with Japanese Tora-Tora plane, but journey to search for his remains is still a failure. [via mb.com.ph] |
