To save companies transport costs and to provide more efficient means of delivering goods between Clark and Subic, Subic-based International Heavy Trucks Center (IHTC) is bringing in the road train, or triples, a trucking system used in Argentina, Australia, Mexico, the United States and Canada to economically move cargo along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) by the yearend.

The said system is a tractor that pulls two or three interrelated trailers.

Armand Arreza, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Administrator, added that this trucking system is used to transport cargo in other countries and now this will be introduced in the Philippines to speed up shipment and delivery of goods between this Zambales Freeport and the Clark Freeport in Pampanga.
