President Arroyo cancelled another day off as she travelled in some provinces in Region III.
The president inspected some public schools in Bataan and Pampanga and distributes microfinance help to small businessmen.
With this visit in different of provinces of the country, the president actually to bring her government closer to the people.
Her first stop was in Mariveles, Bataan to be part of the launching of Information Hub in Mariveles National High School-Poblacion meant to improve computer literacy among students. The students of Mariveles high school received 65 new computers donated by Buhay Party-Rep. Carissa Coscuella.
The said computer project was part of the P14.6 million program kick off by Bataan Rep. Alberto Garcia sought to give computers to students and let them connect to the Internet. Five hundred computer units, which include laptops, wi-fi routers and printers, will be distributed to the 13 other public high schools.
After Bataan, the president travelled to Pampanga to inspect facilities of several public schools and expand farm apparatus as well as microfinance aid to some recipients.
Aside from the mentioned schools, the president also visited San Antonio Central Elementary School in Barangay San Antonio, the San Isidro Elementary School, Purok 3 in Barangay San Isidro, and the Mabical Elementary School in Barangay Mabical.
She also distributed microfinance loan assistance checks to small businessmen in Floridablanca.
