Drug addiction is one of the biggest problem of our youth today. These youngsters are fascinated by the sweet scented words of the drug lords in terms of a share money in the sense that it could buy anything under the sun. Some tried drugs for curiosity, they cannot be ignorant of the after effect that may come later. The school should serve as the center of change to disseminate against drug addiction. The teacher will inform the youth the bad effects that may happen to their health and to their whole being. The school may invite resource speakers on drug addictions and present slides in order that they will have a clear view in this matter. Lastly, it could also help to give them different activities to keep them busy. Like basketball tournaments, taekwondo, karate, and other form from sports in school. If they were all busy, there would be no by-standers roaming around and no vices could be developed among our youth. ---------------------------------------------------- by: Mrs. Annette D.
