SCAD Mega-Logistics Hub Forum In Bataan

The Subic-Clark Alliance for Development (SCAD) is putting into effect a master plan that is going to make the Philippines at level with other logistics center in the Asia-Pacific Region such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. AS a logistics center, the Clark and the seaport of the Subic connected by the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx).

The SCAD corridor, made up of areas in Clark and Subic Freeport Zones 4 cities and 17 municipalities in the provinces of Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales, with a mega-logistics center will be giving world-class logistics infrastructure and services.

To disclose to the people understanding about SCAD mega-logistics center, with the opening of the SCTEx, meetings have been held in Tarlac, Zambales, bataan and soon in Pampanga. The assembly in Balanga City was attended by municipal officials and delegates of the academe, business and non-governmental organizations.

As a substitute for receiving raw materials of shipping their products by way of the Manila port or the Manila International Airport (MIA), the investors in Bataan will be using the Subic Bay Freeport and the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) in Clark, Angeles City.
