Written by Sarah H. Loyola - Teacher III

Teacher's pleasant and unpleasant personality and attitudes indeed affects learning. Generally, pupils do not like teachers who always scold them and throw bad words to humiliate the. They also hate teachers who cannot control her emotions. When learners are under the supervision of a disorganized teacher, they tend to be lazy and uninspired to work inside the classroom.

Our modern world calls for teachers who indeed possesses well rounded personality. Someone who treats her pupils as their own children and disciplines them. A teacher who understands the need condition and need of her pupils, a teacher who creates an environment that is conducive to learning. An educator who helps in developing the total well being of her pupils. Likewise, a depressed, lazy, unfocused and irritated teachers can humiliate and create tension inside the classroom.

Because teacher's personality greatly affects the learning environment… a teachers must try her best to have a pleasant and good personality. She must be concern and loving to her pupils and she must be totally committed to her vocation so as to inspire every learner in her class.
