Bataan Augments Production For Mega Manila |

After attending a planning workshop, Battle Plan to Feed Mega Manila, directed by the Agribusiness Marketing Assistance section of the Department of Agriculture in Region 3, provincial agriculturist Imelda Inieto found out the requirement of Mega Manila for vegetables, pork and chicken meat. She soon after that told the problem to bataan Governor Tet garcia, who made a decision to encourage greater farmers to move into vegetable, broiler and hog production.The Department of Agriculture provincial office in Bataan made known publicly that it is prepared to full fill the requirement of Mega Manila for vegetables, pork and chicken meat. Mega Manila is constituted of Metro Manila plus the provinces of Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas. Bataan is preparing greater than 248 hectares of agriculture land for the production of pork, chicken and vegetable for the consumers in Mega Manila. Bataan is bounded in the northeast by Pampanga a part of Mega Manila. Therefore, Bataan must prepare also to be a part of Mega manila in the future. Mega Manila will expand to become Giga Manila.
