The Port of Orion in Bataan is now reopening its service to the public. Though the Diosdado Macapagal Port Terminal worth P35 million is still undergoing finishing construction. New vessel Ocean Jet I of Ocean Fast Ferries is now taking passengers back and forth from CCP terminal in Manila to Orion port. It’s been a year since the operation of the ferry stopped; one reason is that passengers could no longer afford the fare.

But now, a very affordable fare was offered, a promo of P320 fare is being given for round trip for every passenger. The fare offer will run for one week. The government of Orion assumes that by the return of the ferry service, tourists will be coming again to Bataan as the port serves as economic access to the province.

Ocean Jet I assured that they have always a reserve vessel once passengers increase in number. At one-hour trip, passengers are satisfied with the convenience and fast travel time.

Another vessel company are about to operate in Orion which may benefit the public.
