A P1-billion aquaculture farm project will soon be launched in this town. According to Vice Mayor Pablo E. Nohay, the company will construct a five-storey building where the shareholder would hold office for its venture. Investors are impressed in the strategic location of Pilar. The company plans to export its fish goods to many neighboring countries. This will help to generate not only income for the town but also to thousands of job hunters. Mayor Pizarro stated that the administration of Jatropha is also planning to give more investment to give way to the expansion program of the biodiesel project which became successful in Barangay Liyang. |

As a tribute to all Filipino soldiers who fought during the Philippine Revolution, World Wars 1 and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and other conflicts where Philippine military contingents helped preserve the cause of the world peace, the country is celebrating the Philippine Veterans Week from April 5 to 11. The said commemoration is also in pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 466 issued on September 14, 1989, April 5 to 11 is observed as Philippine Veterans Week. |

Commuters from Bataan and other places will now enjoy experiencing the biggest shopping center in Metro Manila as Aboitiz Shipping Line deploys its Super CAT ferry boats to ply Orion-MOA. Congressman Abet S. Garcia, 2nd district of Bataan revealed this good news that starting Appril 1, ferry service from this port directly to Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City via Manila Bay, will again resume. Since the trip will be directly all the way to MOA in 45 minutes, the resumption of the ferry boat service is expected to be patronized by Batenos and other commuters from other places. |
