Five projects were approved as the 2008-2010 development plans for Central Luzon by the Regional Development Council (RDC) presided by Bataan Governor Enrique Garcia. Three out of five of these projects are infrastructures for Bataan. These are the Bataan-Manila pipeline project, Bataan liquefied natural gas terminal project and Bagac-Mariveles road. Pipeline is a line of pipe with pumps, valves, and control devices for conveying liquids, gases of finely divided solids. It will be installed from Bataan to Manila that covers a distance of approximately 50 kilometers. |

The Bataan Economic Zone, formerly Bataan Export Processing Zone, is the very first economic zone in the Philippines. This zone is set for a prosperous future, but the development of economic zone is very slow because of several factors producing a usually deleterious effect upon the smooth processes in the economic zone. |

Morong Bataan is wealthy in beautiful resorts where you can relax with your family and friends. Located in the western part of Bataan Province. It is more or less 50.48 kilometers from city of Balanga and about 174 kilometers from Manila. It has consisted of about 3.41% only of the whole population of the province of Bataan; it is the least populated among the twelve municipalities. |

It's a wonderful thing I got the chance to attend the recently concluded Pawikan Festival at Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan last Friday, November 30. But sadly on a side, I missed the part of the releasing of the baby pawikans. My company and I arrived just right after it was done. But on the other hand, we still enjoy the festival because a lot of activities were still ongoing. |
