Efficient Mechanized Agricultural Production

In the International Symposium on Machinery and Mechatronics for Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, state agriculture researchers said that Japanese farmers produce high yields even in small farms with the use of efficient mechanized agricultural production.

According to Reynan Calderon, based agriculture scientist of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), Japan continues to improve their efficient agricultural production through precision agriculture. Farmers in Japan use machines in planting and harvesting crops even in minimal landholdings, unlike in the Philippines, where in Filipino farmers are suing man-animal labor to carry specific tasks.

Farmer Scientist Training Program (FSTP) is a program employed by the Department of Agriculture (DA), University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB), the Davao Oriental local government unit (LGU), Provincial Science and Technology Center of the Department of Science and Technology (DoST), and other concerned agencies. Today, Davao Oriental farmers now focus in the production of corn and other crops to help boost the economic status of the province.

 
Good Samaritans in Abucay, Bataan

Good news to the people of Abucay in the province of Bataan as some of their successful citizens donated building worth P3-M for children and elderly.

The buildings are located in Wawa, a fishing village in Abucay, Bataan rise on 300 square meters of land adjacent to the barangay hall. These were built in a lot owns by the municipal government, which is part of the former Abucay public market that was transferred to a bigger site.

Donors are the Adrid Family, headed by Dr. Augusto Adrid, son of Perfecto Adrid, who was a former chief of police of Abucay.

A unique resort in Bataan preserves and showcases an old Filipino town with ancestral homes and buildings dating from the 18th century to the early 20th century.

This is the best thing that the resort could offer for it guests to have a great vacation.

Las Casas Dilipinas de Acuzar is a replica of an old Filipino town that could transport anyone to at least a hundred years back.

Upon entering the resort, Casa Mexixo serves as the reception lobby while the Casa Byzantina reminisces of bits pieces of the country’s European influences.
