Being the most popular travel destination and a sports hottest spot in the country today, Subic Bay Freeport is also believed to transpire as the most preferred center for eco sports or environment friendly sports activities.

And to prove this said conviction, SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority) held the Philippine Kayaking Series 2010 over the weekend, which served as an activity for sports minded and environment conscious people who wish to help in looking after the environment and con serving planet Earth while indulging in their favorite sports.

 
Organic Feed for Chicken Broilers

A research study on available organic feed for broilers was conducted by Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) people. Their goal is to produce organic-chicken meat.

The title of the research of Dr. Hermogenes M. Paguia is Feeding Value of Spent Dried Salted Fish as Partial and Total Replacement to Broiler Ration. It was also coauthored by Rudy C. Flores, BPSU Orani Campus director.

Subic Bay Photography Society Share Skills for the Youth

To help produce better citizens, a non-government organization in Olongapo City sponsored a one day lecture on Photojournalism for the Youth.

SBPS (Subic Bay Photography Society) leaded by its founders Roy Van Morales with Cleo Roda Nodado served as the organizer of the said lecture for the youth, particularly the youth around the area of Olongapo.

The lecture, which was held at McDonald's, were participated in by young individuals together with their parents. It started with a presentation of various images about photojournalism.
