Broadband Network For Balanga Elementary

In line with the city government's goal of making every school in Balanga computer literate and interconnected for better and quicker exchange of information, City of Balanga Mayor Jose Enrique Joet Garcia allocated during the Christmas party of teachers and employees of the Department of Education DepEd last December 20 a laptop each to 16 public elementary schools in Balanga.

During the intervening time, directing trainings on Information and Communication Technology ICT for principals and heads of beneficiary schools has been begun by the provincial Management Information Service Office MISO of Bataan. After that, other teachers will in like manner pass trough similar trainings up to the time that the skill, knowledge and technology shall have been transmitted finally to the students.

 
Buntis Pageant Matched Buntis Congress

The Buntis congress is a project of the municipal health office of Mariveles in the province of Bataan under Doctor Danilo Velasco, the municipal health physician. By this time on its third year, the congress attempted to promote maternal and child health care.

However, a Buntis congress was matched last Saturday with something equal or better. A Buntis Pageant, where IS women carrying unborn offspring took part at the Mariveles People's Park in the poblacion, matched a Buntis congress.

 
Bataan Death March Survivor Died At Age 86

Francis Hall Van Buskirk, a survivor of the Bataan Death March during the Second World War, died recently in Santa Fe at age 86. A service to preserve the memory of Francis Hall Van Buskirk is arranged at McGee Memorial Chapel in Santa Fe. The burial with military honors will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

During the Second World War, around seventy thousand American and Filipino forces that gave up at the Bataan Peninsula in the Philippines in April 1942 were forced to March greater than 100 kilometers in the direction of Japanese prison camps.

Bataan Augments Production For Mega Manila

After attending a planning workshop, Battle Plan to Feed Mega Manila, directed by the Agribusiness Marketing Assistance section of the Department of Agriculture in Region 3, provincial agriculturist Imelda Inieto found out the requirement of Mega Manila for vegetables, pork and chicken meat. She soon after that told the problem to bataan Governor Tet garcia, who made a decision to encourage greater farmers to move into vegetable, broiler and hog production.
