Golf Course in Hermosa?

In a formal expression of the purpose approved by Pastolan Village officials and sent to the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), members of the Aeta primitive social group expressed deep regret for the lack of consultation and that they were not told of a demand for land survey by the Hanjin Heavy Industries Co. (HHIC) on a suggested 36-hole golf course in their territory derived from their ancestor at Pastolan Village in Barangay Tipo, Hermosa, Bataan.

In Bataan, Hermosa received the amount of P3.5 million while Morong got P3 million as towns immediately affected by the economic zone in Subic Bay Freeport Zone located in Zambales, but as neighboring areas to the economic zone in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Dinalupihan received the amount of P5.3 million while Morong got P4.1 million.

Bataan Clean Up Day

Bataan celebrates International Coastal Cleanup Day last September 23 on its 8th year. Participants in the clean up includes employees from government and private companies, religious and civic organizations, and students from high school and college all over Bataan. Each brings tools to wipe garbage and chemicals along the coastal areas.
