National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales was in the City of Balanga in Bataan on Sunday, January 14, 2007 to be present at a family reunion of the large Gonzales clan while he greeted with enthusiastic approval from the seashore barangay of Puerto Rivas.

Watchers stated as opinion that the special event was a signal for the entrance of Gonzales into the Bataan political battleground as representative for the Second District of Bataan under the group of previous governor Leonardo Roman as governor and previous Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairman Felicito Payumo as representative in the First District.

Ang lakas ko sa Globe! Yes, Globe Handyphone customer service representative called me this morning to confirm the disconnection request we filed last week for one of my account. I’m one of a loyal subscriber of Globe for almost 4 years, I have 2 accounts with them way back October 2003 for Plan 800 with free Nokia 3100 and another one in December 2004, a Nokia 6260 with Plan 500 this second account is for my Father. We use my account to get a new cell phone less hassle because I have already a good standing for more than a year. I don’t remember how much money my Father bought out to avail this N6260, which that time is one of the new release units of Globe.

Three hundred women from all over Bataan are lucky to be chosen for a free 3-month welding training to be held at the formerly paper Mill Factory in Orani, Bataan which became government owned. The training includes free tuition fees, dormitory, food and transportation throughout the training period.

A group of people who are catchers of fish, fishermen who are situated at a margin or border and green mussel breeders in Abucay town informed to report allegedly from Malabon City, Parañaque City, and province of Cavite often Bataan.

Fishermen and tahong breeders in Abucay town expressed discontent that the unlawful dynamites, explosives usually used in blasting, and fine nets produce a usually deleterious effect even upon the littlest in size fish and bring loss, harm and injury to the greater than 10-hectare green-mussel breeding farm in this town. 

City of Balanga Water System

The City of Balanga is one of six cities in the Philippines that is a candidate to take a grant or financial support from the European Union for the process of increasing value of water system. Except for Balanga, the additional cities in the Philippines where alike careful examinations or analyses are being directed for funding support of European union are Batangas City in Batangas, Calbayog City in Western Samar, Roxas City in Capiz, Surigao City in Surigao del Norte, and the Island Garden City in Mindanao.

The Mount Samat pilgrimage is a main attraction of the year 2006. This pilgrimage, a journey of a person who travels to a shrine or holy place as a devotee, to famous in history Mount Samat in Pilar, Bataan engages to provide more magnificent, having more striking colors observance and with larger in number participation from local residents as well as tourists. It was placed in a program to be held on December 2 and allegedly coincides with the beginning of the Catholic church's season of advent or the coming of Christ, the season beginning four Sundays before Christmas. Consequently, it is appropriately themed: Bayani at banal, sama-sama sa pagbabago ng lipunan.

I'm trying to check website stat this morning and I found out that Mutya ng Balanga is one in the top search queries. It's very unusual because when the time that the pageant is on-going every year, it's not like that so many are searching for the pageant details or anything that will do with the search.
