BPSU Board Passers

Bataan Polytechnic State University is very proud of the newly board passers in the different licensure exams set by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The sole qualifier for the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Exam is Alex Dela Rosa Olmo, wherein BPSU garnered a passing score of 25% of the national passing score of 50.42%. 

Another pride of BPSU, Engr. Alfredo D. Valentos is now a Professional Mechanical Engineer.

Corn Production in Central Luzon

Bataan is leaping a step to be a major corn producer in Central Luzon. Numerous farmers are now venturing into corn production as it gives profitable returns. Also greater hectares of land were now using for planting of corn.
Agri-Aqua Trade Fair

A five-day regional agri-aqua trade fair was recently held in Cabanatuan City which are joined by provinces all over Central Luzon. Bataan products proved to be the best as it was become the number one in sales from other provinces that participated. Products like dried and smoked fish, shrimp and fish paste, sweet tamarind balls, polvoron, banana chips, cashew nuts, araro cookies, ground coffee and lasa brooms earned a lot of sales.

Majorette Exhibition

The town of Orion is set to celebrate their weeklong activities for their Feast Day this May. They are known to have an extravagant, huge and a must-see celebration during this event. The impressive performance of bands in La Torre from different places from near towns and province is one of the much-awaited one. Each band has its own special music to perform for a big crowd of audiences.

City of Balanga holds a long running event this April. It is in time of the Town Fiesta itself, which has lots of lined up events and activities for Balangueños. The activities starts on April 20 with a Variety Show at the town plaza, Gay's Pride to watched on the 21st, a must seen Street Dancing Competition on April 22, a creative Barangay Dance Showdown from participating barangays on April 23, head banging music from the Battle of the Bands on the 24th, the much awaited Coronation Night of Mutya ng Balanga 2007 on the 25th of April.

Bagac Cashew Products

Bataan products are listed in the ten most excellent One Town, One Product (OTOP) projects in Central Luzon. Bagac Bataan is in third place for its processed cashew nuts and processed fish products of Balanga City.

Prized as the third place was the town of Bagac in Bataan for its processed cashew nuts.

ICT Hub in Central Luzon

Bataan's ICT roadmap must be defined to determine the future of Bataan.

Bataan is on the road to becoming another information and communication technology (ICT) hub in the country.

On a scale of 10, Bataan scored 7.08 points after an assessment was made regarding the readiness of the province to be transformed into an ICT center.

Bataan Day Celebration

The members of the Bataan Tourism Council Foundation, Inc. (BTCFI) executive committee came together last January 10 to plan in detail for this year's celebration of Bataan Day. The suggested activities for this year are concert, ballet or orchestra presentation; parade of floats; tribute to the veterans of World War II, and civil-military parade. Mount Samat, the last bastion of bravery during the Second World War, will be the site of the greatest number of the activities.
