As Filipinos celebrate the Lenten season this April, the 70th Anniversary of the Day of Valor or Araw ng Kagitingan will also be remembered on April 9. This will commemorate the attack of the Japanese throng in 1942. This will also remember the gracious men who chose to die rather than to surrender. About 76,000 Filipino soldiers and their American Allies agonized from the forceful 112-km Death March as the Japanese won the victory. The march began at Mariveles and ended at Capas, Tarlac.

Limay, Bataan Ecotourism Project

Mayor Ver Roque of Limay, Bataan plans for a project which will develop stony land to ecotourism parks. This will help the municipality to attract more tourists and to provide livelihood to its people. He had met Amado Villanueva and Raul Mamac of DENR to discuss his plans. They have selected the idle lands that will be included in the project.

Dropping out from the class is  one of  the  most common problems among pupils specially those in the lower and lowest section. Some say that once a pupil never attends a class it is a teacher factor since the prime motivator for the pupil to come to school.
